The death of a man on the A38 near Plymouth has led to another two people being charged with murder.

Police were called to reports of a collision at St Budeaux at around 8.40pm on the evening of Thursday 12th May.

Later that week, the force confirmed the man who died was 59-year-old David Crawford from Ivybridge.

The incident, which happened on the slip-road, closed the carriageway through the night and into the next day.

Officers had previously charged a 42-year-old man from Devonport with murder; he remains on remand awaiting trial.

Now two other men, in their 30s and from Ivybridge and Plymouth, have been charged with murder.

Devon & Cornwall Police say both were due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Friday 10th June.
