Man charged with murder following woman's death in Cornish village

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in a Cornish village.

Emergency service were called to Charlotte Close in Mount Hawke on Tuesday.

48-year-old Michaela Hall was found dead at the property.

Now officers have confirmed that 42-year-old local Lee Kendall has been charged and remanded in custody.

He is due to appear before Truro magistrates on Saturday.

"A 42-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Michaela Hall in Mount Hawke.

"Lee Kendall, of Charlotte Close in Mount Hawke, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Truro Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Saturday 5 June).

"The charge relates to an incident on Tuesday (1 June), when police were called to an address in Charlotte Close and the body of Ms Hall was found inside."
