Motorcyclist seriously injured in Helston crash

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a motorcyclist was left seriously hurt in a crash in Helston.

Officers were called just before 4.30pm on Wednesday 13 December following the collision between an orange KTM motorcycle and a grey Hyundai i10 on the A394.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s from St Austell, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital. The driver of the Hyundai was uninjured.

Officers closed the road for around 11 hours for forensic scene examination work.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated and officers would like to hear from any witnesses or any motorist who may have relevant dashcam footage.
