Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision in Truro

Police are seeking information after crash involving a car and moped

A 49-year-old motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries following a collision involving a car and moped in Truro.

The crash happened at around 1.50pm on 21st January at the roundabout near Sainsbury's on the A390 and involved a silver Ford KA car and a white Piaggio Vespa 125cc motorcycle.

The injured motorcyclist, who is from the Newquay area, was taken to hospital. Her next of kin have been informed.

Officers have thanked the public for their patience while road closures were in place.

Police are asking for anyone with information or dash-cam footage that could help the investigation to come forward.
