Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after serious crash on busy road in Truro

It is understood a biker has been rushed to hospital after a serious crash, which closed one of the main roads around Truro.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service says the motorcyclist was trapped under a vehicle after the collision with a car.
Police, firefighters, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to Falmouth Road during rush-hour.
It happened near the Arch Hill roundabout at around 7.40am on Monday 7th February.
Devon and Cornwall Police said closures were in place while emergency services worked at the scene, but the road has since reopened.
The force said: "Police were called at 7.40am today to Falmouth Road, Truro following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.
"Emergency Services attended the scene where the bike rider was reported to be under the bike.
"He has been safely moved and taken to hospital with suspected serious injuries.
"The road remains closed whilst emergency services are at the scene".
The incident has caused heavy traffic on the A39 and A390, with reports of long tailbacks.
It also affected public transport around the city, with passengers warned to expect delays.
In a statement, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "One appliance from Truro have attended an road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike.
"On crews arrival they confirmed one person was trapped under the front of the car.
"Firefighters released the trapped casualty and administered first aid.
"Air Ambulance is on route to scene from Newquay.
"Firefighters stabilised and made the vehicles safe while police officers closed the road.
"Highways have been requested to put in road diversions at this time".
Inrix Traffic and Travel said: "Falmouth Road in both directions re-opened.
"Traffic easing and accident cleared from A390 Arch Hill (Arch Hill roundabout) to Park View".
