Motorcyclist dies in A38 crash

The road was closed for around eight hours

A motorcyclist's died in a crash on the A38.

Emergency services were called around 7.05am on Thursday 7th March following the incident involving a grey BMW motorcycle and a white Peugeot Boxer van near Trerulefoot roundabout.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s from Saltash, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The van driver was uninjured.

The A38 was closed for around eight hours for officers to investigate the scene and for the vehicles to be recovered.

Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

They are also keen to hear from motorists with relevant dashcam footage.
