Motorcyclist dies in collision in Falmouth
A man in his 20s was confirmed deceased at the scene
A man has died after a crash in Falmouth.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called at around 7.10pm last night (Friday 28 April) to reports of a single vehicle collision on Swanpool Road.
The rider of a silver Yamaha motorbike, a man in his 20s from Falmouth, was confirmed deceased at the scene.
Police say formal identification is yet to take place but the mans next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the collision to investigate and establish how the collision occurred.
The road was closed for several hours whilst this took place and Police would like to thank the public for their patience.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area and may have dash-cam, doorbell or CCTV footage that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact police.
