An urgent appeal has gone out to help find a missing teenager, who police say could be in Cornwall or Devon.

Freddy, 17, went missing from his home in Stolford in the Quantock Hills on Tuesday 20th September at 10am.

Avon and Somerset Police shared an appeal to find him on their social media feeds.

Since then, that has been retweeted by Devon & Cornwall Police, who said: "Can you assist @ASPolice in locating missing 17-yr-old Freddy? He may be in our force area".

Freddy is described as being 5ft 9', of slim build and has short, brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and brown ankle boots.

On Wednesday, the Avon and Somerset force said concerns were growing for Freddy's welfare.

A spokesperson said: "Have you seen Freddy, 17? He has been missing from his home near Stolford, Stogursey since 10am on Tuesday 20 September and we're growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Freddy is 5ft 9ins tall and slim build with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and brown ankle boots.

"If you know where Freddy is now, please call 999 and give the reference 5222227588.
