The Manic Street Preachers have been announced as a headliner for a Cornish festival.

The Welsh band will play The Great Estate at Scorrier House this summer.

They will be rocking the stage on Saturday 4th June as part of the festival's line-up for 2022.

A Great Estate spokesperson said: "Manic Street Preachers are one of the most influential and iconic rock bands to have come out of Wales. Throughout the years they have collected fans from all over the world, maturing and changing musically whilst always keeping the classic Manics sound.

"They will be bringing with them a catalogue of old and new hits including; ‘You Stole The Sun From My Heart’, and ‘Design For Life’ alongside newer songs such as ‘Orwellian’ and ‘The Secret He Had Missed', both taken from their most recent album.

"They join a line-up that includes Sugarhill Gang, Furious 5, Electric Six, DJ Yoda, and Craig Charles. The Great Estate 2022 is going to be a big one!"
