Police name man who died after alleged assault in Truro

Police have named the man who died following an alleged assault in Truro, as 54-year-old local Luke Pocock.
Officers were called to reports of a serious assault outside the Railway Social Club on the evening of Saturday 2nd July.
Mr Pocock was rushed to Derriford Hospital in a serious condition but, sadly, passed away last week.
A man who was originally arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning GBH has since been rearrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
The 35-year-old, who is from the Camborne area, has been released on police bail until later this month.
A woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone with any information, and who has not already spokes to officers, to get in touch.
In a statement, a force spokesperson said: "A man who died following an alleged assault in Truro on Saturday 2 July has been named as 54-year-old Luke Pocock from Truro.
"Officers were called to reports of a serious assault at around 10.30pm on Saturday 2 July outside the Railway Social Club on Station Road in Truro.
"Luke Pocock sustained a head injury and was taken to Derriford Hospital in a serious condition; he later died on Thursday 28 July.
"At the time of the incident, a 35-year-old man from the Camborne area was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, and a 38-year-old woman from the Camborne area was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
"The women was released under investigation pending further enquiries.
"The man has since been further arrested on Friday 29 July on suspicion of manslaughter and has been released on police bail until Wednesday 24 August.
