The RNLI were called out earlier this week after a man got stuck in the mud as the tide started to come in on the foreshore of the Camel Estuary.
On Friday (April 21), the man was found 'chest high' with water, with crews from the Rock lifeguard rushing out to save him.
The HM Coastguard Padstow revealed the Lifeboats team were joined by the CRT Mud Rescue Team and a fire crew during the rescue at just after 4pm.
He was then taken ashore, where he was looked over by an ambulance crew crew from the Cornwall Ambulance Service, after a Fast Response Car from the Cornwall Air Ambulance rushed to the scene.
He was found by Critical Care Paramedics to be able to walk and was taken to RCH Treliske for assessment.
On their social media page, the Rock RNLI Lifeboat team said: "Our volunteer RNLI crew launched at 16:19 to assist a man stuck in the mud just East of Pinkson Creek with an incoming spring tide.
"On arrival at the scene, our crew found the man chest high in water, they worked alongside members of Padstow and Wadebridge Fire & Rescue service and Padstow Coastguard to free the casualty.
"Our volunteer crew handed the casualty to Cornwall Ambulance service in Padstow and returned to station where our RNLI lifeboat, Rusper 2 was readied for service once again."
In response to the lifesaving rescue, one person - Lizzie Bath - commented: "You rescued me from the mud on Porthilly two years ago and you were all amazing - life savers - thank you - will never forget x".
