Man suffers serious injuries after crash near Redruth

Emergency services were called on Wednesday morning

A man's suffered serious injuries after a crash near Redruth on Wednesday morning (9th June).

At 7.14am emergency services, including fire crews, were called to the scene of a collision on the B3298 Tolgullow near Scorrier.

Two vehicles were involved - a skip lorry and a grey Peugeot car.

One man sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske for emergency treatment.

Police would ask that if anyone has witnessed the collision, or may have relevant dash camera footage, to phone 101 or contact them via the Devon and Cornwall Police website quoting log 156 09/06/21.

Once a full examination of the scene was conducted the road was re-opened.

Police would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
