A man has pleaded guilty to a series of bomb hoaxes against a secondary school and the NHS in Truro.

Two of the charges relate to an incident at Richard Lander School and a third to an NHS facility in the city.

Rodney Peasley, of Radnor Road in Scorrier, admitted the three charges at Truro Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The 66-year-old also pleaded guilty to four counts of causing criminal damage relating to a Covid vaccination centre at Mount Hawke.

The incidents took place between the 26th October and 19th November.

Peasley is due back in court on the 13th January for sentencing.
