Man suffers life-threatening injury in fall from pub window

The incident isn't being treated as suspicious

A man's suffered a life-threatening head injury after falling from a window of a pub in Par.

Police say they were called to the Royal Inn at 3.45am on Thursday 11 July, following concern for the welfare of a man.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Treliske Hospital.

The man, in his 20s from the St Blazey area, was later transferred to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Officers are conducting enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident which is not currently being treated as suspicious.
