Man found unconscious after being attacked in Looe
A man in his 40's is in hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation is underway after a serious assault in Looe.
Police were called to the Fore Street area at around 00:35am on Sunday 13th July following a report a man had been hit with a bottle.
Officers attended and found the victim unconscious in the street.
The victim, a local man in his 40s, is currently being treated in hospital having sustained serious injuries.
An 18-year-old man from Looe has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody at this time.
A scene guard remained in place following the incident.
