Man dies following St Ives crash

He died a week after the incident in Trelyon Avenue

A man's died in hospital a week after being involved in a crash in St Ives.

Police were called to Trelyon Avenue on Tuesday April 30th to a crash involving a car and two pedestrians.

A man and woman were taken to hospital with serious injuries, and police now say the man died in hospital on Tuesday April 7th.

The woman remains in hospital with life-changing injuries.

The driver of the car, a 45-year-old man, was arrested at the time of the collision on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention. He is currently on police bail.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are continuing to appeal for any witnesses of the incident who haven’t yet spoken to police to please call them on 101 quoting reference 50240103458.
