Man dies following incident on farm in Cornwall

An investigation is being carried out by the Health and Safety Executive

A man has died following an incident on a farm in Cornwall.

Police and paramedics were called to Higher Trestrayle Farm, near Probus, following reports of a man falling from a height.

Sadly a man had died at the scene and could not be saved.

It happened on the 4th November.

The Health and Safety Executive has confirmed that it is investigating, but is unable to say anything more at this time.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called by the ambulance service at around 5.05pm on Thursday 4 November to Higher Trestrayle Farm near Probus following reports of a man falling from a height.

"The man was pronounced deceased at the scene and his next of kin were informed.

"The Health and Safety Executive were informed and now have primacy in the investigation."
