Man dies after 'falling from cliff' on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula
Police were called to Poldhu Point on Sunday night, but say the death is not being treated as suspicious
A man has died following an incident on the coast on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall.
Police were called to Poldhu Point on Sunday night, after reports a man had fallen from the cliff.
Tragically, officers say the casualty was pronounced dead at the scene.
Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
"Police were called to Poldhu Point at around 9pm on Sunday 30th May following a report a man had fallen from the cliff.
"Officers attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"Identification of the deceased is a matter for the coroner".
