Truro man charged with murder after woman dies with facial injuries

A man has been from Truro has been charged with murder.

Devon & Cornwall Police have made the charge following the death of a women in St Austell earlier this week.

On Tuesday (March 28), officers and paramedics were called to a house at 6.55pm after receiving reports that a woman was found unresponsive and had suffered injuries to her face.

61-year-old Bernadette Rosario from St Austell was confirmed dead at the scene.

Michael Rowe, aged 36, of No Fixed Abode, Truro, has now been handed a charge of murder by police and has been remanded in custody.

Rowe is due to appear at Truro Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 1 April.
