Man charged following fatal crash in north Cornwall
A motorbike rider and pillion passenger died following the collision on Monday
A man has been charged following a fatal crash near Bude.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Wainhouse Corner at around 11am on Easter Monday.
A van and a motorbike were involved in the collision at Collamoor Head.
The motorbike rider, a man in his 60s, and his pillion passenger, a woman in her 60s, both from the Truro area, sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say Glyn Arthur Thomas has been charged with two charges of causing death by driving without due care and attention whilst unfit through drink.
The 58-year-old, of Collamoor Head, is due to appear before Truro Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 21st April.
