A young man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter following the death of a woman in a village near Penzance.

Emergency services were called to an address in Crowlas on the morning of Tuesday 22nd June, where a woman was found dead.

Devon and Cornwall Police later confirmed the casualty was 44-year-old Sally Whiting.

Appearing at Truro Crown Court via video link on Monday 13th December, Jacob Poynton-Whiting admitted manslaughter.
