Luxury beach huts at Watergate Bay have been repaired after storm damage.
The Fortnum & Mason beach huts at Watergate Bay were damaged earlier this month during high tide and 'unexpected, unseasonal weather'.
The huts were taken down as a result of 'cosmetic damage' and have been rebuilt.
A spokesperson from the team said: "Our team of local tradespeople have worked tirelessly to repair our trio of Eau de Nil Beach Huts, which we are delighted to re-open with additional dates to cater for original customer demand.
"With a further three weeks of bookings available, the huts will now be open until the 30th September, in the hope of soaking up the last of British Summer Time."
The huts will be open for visitors to enjoy a chef-curated picnic menu from Emily Scott Food – including fresh dishes from independent Cornish suppliers, and Fortnum’s picnic products.
In a statement at the time, Fortnum and Mason said in a statement: "Due to freak weather during high tide yesterday evening at Watergate Bay, the Fortnum’s Beach Huts have sustained cosmetic damage. Before launch, all health and safety measures were approved by an accredited body, which has ensured that the base structure has remained in-tact, and we are now in the process of working to correct the superficial damage caused by the sea.
"As originally planned, the huts will be closed for the duration of the local Boardmasters festival, but we will now need to close the huts until after this time to ensure all work can take place. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our guests and the local community."
