A lorry appears to have become 'wedged' in the middle of a busy road through a Cornish village.

The vehicle appears to have tried to manoeuvre from a small road in Chacewater and become stuck.

Firefighters were on the scene on Fore Street and a cordon was put in place.

Inrix Traffic and Travel was reporting that Station Road was blocked in both directions but has now reopened.

"Station Road in both directions blocked, slow traffic due to broken down lorry between Station Hill and Fore Street.

"Delays passing through Chacewater."

They later added: "Traffic returned to normal, earlier broken down lorry on Station Road in both directions between Station Hill and Fore Street.

"Delays remain passing through Chacewater."
