'Longest Christmas light tunnel in the south west' opens in Cornwall
It stretches for 100 glittering metres!
What is believed to be the longest, continuous Christmas light tunnel in the South West is opening in Cornwall.
Camel Creek Adventure Park, near Wadebridge, is pulling out all the stops to give Christmas extra sparkle this year.
Stretching for 100 glittering meters, the attraction's twinkling tunnel will be adorned with 2km of lights, and as the centrepiece of the Park’s Christmas activities, will cast a magical glow over the winter wonderland experience.
With extended opening hours from 27th November to 23rd December, families can enjoy the top family attraction as darkness falls and the tunnel lights up.
A spokesperson said: "Step inside and follow the enchanted passageway to Santa’s Grotto where little one’s can say hello to Father Christmas and receive a special gift. There’s also a chance to join Santa’s Elves in their workshop for festive arts and crafts and a Christmas Tree Forest – the perfect spot to sip tasty mulled wine and cosy hot chocolates.
"Families can also stop by the Chocolate Factory for winter treats, or the Snack Shack complete with ice cones and Crepe Hut.
"Camel Creek’s Christmas shows add yet more seasonal magic and little ones (and grown-ups too!) will be delighted to see the Swampy and Dina Land transformed into Christmas Land. This is all on top of the Park’s usual fun and excitement, including the indoor play area at Creeky’s Playhouse, Pirate of the Seven Seas ride, the Carousel and Wave Rider swings. Animal lovers have the chance to explore The Stables, Reptile House, Meerkat Enclosure and Pony Express."
