A letter has magically been delivered to a rather confusing address in Cornwall.

Addressed to Katrina Davis, lives in a blue and green shed on a crossroads near a village 21 miles from Land's End, as featured on BBC2 Simon Reeve programme, Cornwall, it made its way to the correct home.

And highlighted on the front was 'Royal Mail - we never fail'. Well they certainly got that right!

The card inside contained an original artwork print and note for Catrina, after she featured in a documentary last year.

She is praising the local posties who managed to get the letter to her.

"I think that's what people like about it, it shows that there is still a community and you have a place in it, people actually do know each other and will make the effort.

"We live in a world where everything seems so impersonal, and these small things that sit outside of that become really precious."

She posted the below photo on Twitter, which has had tens of thousands of likes, comments and retweets.

The letter was sent to Catrina, who as pointed out on the envelope, starred in the documentary 'Cornwall with Simon Reeve' last year.

The two-part programme shone a light on various topics in the Duchy, such as poverty, local businesses and affordable housing.

That's where Catrina came in. She wrote a book called 'Homesick' which is about the housing crisis in Cornwall and how she managed to find a place to live - which is her shed.

"It's a corrugated tin shed, it's quite small. About eight years ago I was homeless, everything had become untenable, the shed was a ruined tin shack that had belonged to my dad in the 90s before he went bankrupt, and it had just been left, so I started sleeping in it and gradually started to turn it into a home. Long story short here I still am."

Catrina says the housing crisis in Cornwall desperately needs addressing, and she fears it is only getting worse.

"I'm so sad to see what's happening to my community now, it's become almost impossible to live here as a normal person.

"We need some regulation to help local people, to protect local people, and to protect the fact that real people really live in Cornwall and they deserve to be able to have a house and a home."
