MULTIPLE vehicles and caravans involved in large fire in north Cornwall

Firefighters are battling a large blaze in north Cornwall that has been burning since the early hours.
Crews were called to reports of a fire in the open at St Merryn shortly before 4am on Tuesday 20th September.
When the first team from Padstow arrived, they found multiple vehicles and caravans involved.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service says back-up was scrambled from Newquay, St Columb and Wadebridge.
Officials say specials and further appliances were also sent to the scene, but the incident is now being scaled back.
Statement from Cornwall Fire & Rescue
A spokesperson said: "Critical control received a call at 03:51 stating a fire in the open can be seen in the area of St Merryn.
"A crew from Padstow community fire station was mobilised. On arrival crews swiftly made up.
"Crews from Wadebridge, Newquay and St Columb community fire stations were mobilised to assist, with specials and further appliances alongside a wholetime officer.
"Crews have stated there are multiple vehicles and caravans involved".
They have since added: "The incident is now being scaled back to one appliance which will be dampening down.
"Any further updates will be added".
