Multiple 999 calls to large fire at flats in Truro

Crews from across west Cornwall have been battling a large fire at a block of flats in Truro.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service says four properties were affected at Trevose Road.
Critical Control received multiple 999 calls in the early hours of Thursday 4th August.
Teams from Truro, Falmouth, Tolvaddon and Perranporth were called, along with the Incident Command Unit from St Just.
Cornwall FRS has confirmed the blaze is now out and teams are monitoring for hotspots.
Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed no-one was injured, but people had to be evacuated and one property was badly damaged.
They said: "At 01:26 Fire Control received multiple 999 calls reporting a fire at a residential property in Trevose Road, Truro.
"Two appliances from Truro Fire Station were mobilised along with a Wholetime Station Manager from Falmouth.
"On arrival the first crew requested urgent assistance from an additional four appliances, with two from Tolvaddon, one from Perranporth and one from Falmouth being mobilised, along with the Incident Command Unit from St Just.
"The fire involves four flats. Good progress is being made as crews are using two main jets and one hose reel jet. Police also in attendance.
In an update shortly before 3am, they added: "The fire has now been extinguished and crews are monitoring for any further hotspots".
Statement from Devon & Cornwall Police
A spokesperson said: "Police were called around 1.40am today, 4th August, by the fire service following a fire within a block of four flats in Trevose Road in Truro.
"Three of the properties were affected and several residents were evacuated. One of the flats was severely damaged by fire.
"No-one was injured.
"The fire service is leading the investigation into the cause of the fire".
