Landslide in Cornwall seaside village following days of downpours

It affected one property at Porthtown and it is understood residents had to be relocated

There has been a partial landslide in a seaside village in Cornwall, following days of torrential downpours.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service say one property was affected in Porthtowan on Saturday.

Photos show what looks like a wooden chalet cordoned off and it is understood residents were relocated.

"One appliance from @TolvaddonCFRS are currently in attendance at a partial landslide affecting a property in the Porthtowan area.

"Building control are also in attendance.

"This is all the information we currently have".
