Woman 'threatened with knife' in robbery at beach cafe in Falmouth

A woman has reportedly been threatened with a knife during a robbery at a beach cafe in Falmouth.

Police say Castle Beach Cafe, just off Cliff Road, was targeted at 8am on Monday morning.

A man, believed to be in his early 20s and in a black hoodie and face mask, was demanding money.

Officers are at the scene and trying to locate the suspect.

Anyone who saw what happened or has any information is being asked to get in touch.

"Police were called to Castle Beach Café on Cliff Road, Falmouth, at around 8am this morning with a report that a man threatened a woman with a knife demanding money.

"Police enquiries to locate the suspect are continuing.

"The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his early 20s, around 5’10” in height, and was wearing a black hooded top, a black face mask and blue jeans."
