Body of woman found on Gyllyngvase Beach identified - Police

Police say the body of a woman that was found on Gyllyngvase Beach has been identified.

The body was discovered at 10.50am on New Year's Day.

Officers say 'a potential identity has been brought to police attention', and they are now working with the coroner to assist with formal identification.

The woman's death isn't being treated as suspicious.
