Police have released another image of a man who is wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Penzance.

Officers were called at 10.18am yesterday (Thursday 20 June) to Jelbert Way, outside Sainsburys, where it was reported that a man with a knife had approached the rear of a security van and taken bags of cash from the security guard.

He then fled the scene on a moped.

Police had already issued two images, which you can find here, but they have now released a further, clearer image of the man they are seeking.

He is described as being over 6ft tall and was wearing a black North Face coat, black trousers, a black face covering and a black bike helmet.

The moped was described as small and black with a red and black storage box on the rear.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who saw this man or knows who he is and anyone who has seen or knows the location of the moped. Please do not approach but call police immediately.

"We’d also like to hear from anyone who was in the area and has dash cam footage or witnessed the incident.

"All information should be reported to police on 999 quoting log 265 of 20/6/24.

"Please do not speculate on social media but report any relevant information to police."
