Thousands of pounds raised for homeless man who was attacked in Truro
Several fundraising appeals have been set up after he was assaulted in a car park

Thousands of pounds has been raised to help a homeless man who was attacked in Truro city centre.
Shocking footage was shared on social media that appears to show him being kicked.
It happened in the Moorfield car park between 10pm and 10.15pm on Saturday night (12th February).
Several fundraising pages have now been set up to help him.

Lois Wild is from the charity St Petroc's in Truro, which helps homeless people, and says it's a shock to see such horrific violence.
She has also confirmed that accommodation has now been found for the man, with the help of Cornwall Council, and he will be safe and secure by the end of the day.
Lois said: "This is just such a horrible story and a horrible thing to have happened. We condemn the violence in every possible way. I think everyone is really shaken up by what has happened and we are just trying to make sure everyone is as safe as possible.
"We're just do all we can to make sure anyone affected by it feels safe, we just want to really emphasise that this is not a normal situation to take place in Cornwall, people in Cornwall are normally really kind and really supportive, I think this is why it's such a shock to see such horrific violence."
Police are investigating what happened and six teenagers have been arrested.
Detective Inspector Steve Moorcroft said: “We are aware of footage that is circulating across social media which appears to show an horrific assault on a homeless man by a gang of teenagers, in Truro.
“Six teenagers are currently in police custody having been arrested in connection to this incident and enquires continue into this matter.
“I wish to reassure the public that the matter is being dealt with, but ask that for the sake of the victim, that people do not share the footage of the attack."
