Fresh appeal following 'serious sexual assault' on woman in 20s in Falmouth

A man has been charged after police investigating a report of a serious sexual assault on a young woman in Falmouth issued a fresh appeal.
The incident involved a woman in her 20s in the early hours of Sunday 5th December.
Anyone with information that may help with enquiries is being urged to contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101.
At the time a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police would like to trace a man who may have information vital to an investigation into a report of serious sexual assault on a woman aged in her 20s in Falmouth."
Davlatsho Davlatshoev, aged 23, of Gwinear Road, Connor Downs, Hayle, has been since been charged with rape.
He appeared before Bodmin Magistrates’ Court today 17 December and has been remanded in cudstody.
He is due before Truro Crown Court on the 14th January.
