Frank the Eagle Owl found after escaping from Cornwall's Paradise Park
Overnight keepers confirmed he was found in the grounds of the Hayle Academy
The search for Frank the Eagle Owl by keepers at Cornwall's Paradise Park has come to an end.
He'd escaped on Wednesday during training for a flying show.
But overnight they confirmed he was found in the grounds of the Hayle Academy.
Keepers on social media said: "A couple of our keepers were out trying to locate Frank the Eagle Owl this evening. They found he was in the grounds of Hayle Academy (Tried to make contact with a governor to see if we could get access. No answer).
"Matt let us know that Frank seemed keen to come to the hand so he came back to the Park for equipment to call Frank down.
"While this was happening ‘Head of Shows’ here at Paradise Park Sarah-Jayne and Keeper Archie were also on route to assist. Sarah-Jayne used her brilliant bird whispering skills to call Frank to a low branch at which point she was able to grab his jessies.
"One of those instant reactions that either works or not. Well done to the team and thank you to the local community for you amazing help! We really appreciate it."
