Firefighters tackle a blaze at a house Launceston

Crews from across the Duchy and Devon were called to the scene

At least five crews were called to a house fire in Lanstephan, Launceston.

They include firefighters from Cornwall, Devon, and Somerset.

"Cornwall Fire & Rescue are currently in attendance at a house fire, appliances from Launceston, Callington, Liskeard and an appliance from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue are in attendance.

"The fire involved the ground floor of a two storey domestic property, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereels to extinguish the fire which was accidental.

"Crews are now returning to their home stations. No further details are available regarding this incident.
