Firefighters spend night battling FIFTH gorse fire on Cornwall peninsula
Crews from six stations, from Falmouth to St Just, rushed to the Coverack area

Firefighters from across west Cornwall have spent the night battling yet another gorse fire on a peninsula.
Crews rushed to the Coverack area last on Saturday night, for what was the fifth blaze on the Lizard Peninsula in a week.
The teams remained at the scene until the early hours of Sunday, as strong winds fanned the flames.
This fire broke out in the Polcoverack Lane area and follows four others in the Goonhilly area.
The first took hold on Monday afternoon and the smoke could be seen from Helston.
In a statement about Saturday night's gorse fire, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service said: "We are currently dealing with make pumps 6 gorse fire in the Coverack area.
"There are appliances on scene from St Keverne, Mullion, Helston, Tolvaddon, Penzance, St Just & Falmouth fire stations.
"Approx 8 hectares of gorse are involved being fanned by strong winds.
"The crews are using beaters and hose reels to extinguish the fire".
At around 3am they added: "The fire is now extinguished. All appliances now returning from the scene".
The gorse fires on the Lizard Peninsula follow a separate blaze at Rosenannon Downs Nature Reserve.
The suspected arson attack saw an area the size of 37 football pitches burned to the ground.
