Emergency services called to serious house fire in Looe
They were scrambled just after 7pm last night (8 July)
Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a property in Looe.
Crews were called yesterday evening, after receiving multiple 999 calls.
Police, paramedics and National Grid were also on the scene to provide help.
Sharing details about the incident, the Fire Service confirmed: "At around 19:02 Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service began receiving multiple 999 calls reporting a fire at a property in Looe.
"Three appliances were mobilised from Polruan and Liskeard along with a 4x4 unit from Looe.
"On arrival crews requested an additional appliance which was mobilised from Lostwithiel, as well as a Water Carrier, Breathing Apparatus Support Unit and Incident Command Unit from Liskeard, St Austell and Launceston respectively.
"A Station Manager and Group Manager are also in attendance.
"Assistance is being provided by Devon and Cornwall Police, South Western Ambulance Service and National Grid.
"Updates to follow as appropriate."
