Prince William and Kate Middleton will make their first official joint visit to the Duchy today (Thursday 9 February) as the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall.

The Royal couple will be in Falmouth to visit a number of locations. It will be the first time the pair have visited Cornwall together in their new roles.

Prince William was last in the county in November when he visited Newquay Orchard, which offers environmental education, employability training and community events.

Prince William became the 25th Duke of Cornwall following the death of his grandmother, HM The Queen Elizabeth II and his father's accession to the throne as HM King Charles III.

The Duke of Cornwall title is traditionally held by the eldest son of the reigning British monarch. Kate is the current Duchess of Cornwall.
