Driver sought after hit-and-run on A30 in Cornwall

A woman and three children sustained minor injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a hit-and-run crash on the A30 in Cornwall.

Officers were called around 8.35am on Saturday (29 April) after a collision between a van and a car on the westbound carriageway near Mitchell.

The Vauxhall Vivaro Combi van overturned and ended up on its roof against the roadside barrier.

The occupants, a woman and three children, sustained minor injuries and were checked over by paramedics.

The other vehicle, believed to be a black estate car and possibly a Volvo, left the scene of the incident.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and seeking the driver of the car.

They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to hear from any driver who may have captured the incident on dashcam.
