Driver in his 20s seriously injured after car crashes into field at Newquay
The vehicle ended up upside down, closing the A3059 in both directions

A driver has been rushed to hospital after a serious crash in Newquay, where a car came off the road and ended up on its roof in a field.
Police say the man in his 20s suffered serious chest and back injuries after the collision on the A3059.
Two passengers, both men, suffered minor injuries in the early hours of Friday morning and were also taken to Treliske.
Firefighters and paramedics were also called to the scene shortly after 2.30am.
The road was closed in both directions but has since reopened.
Devon & Cornwall Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has any relevant dashcam footage.
A force spokesperson said: "Police are seeking witnesses to a serious collision in Newquay which left three people injured, one seriously.
"Emergency services were called at 2.35am today, 30 September, after the collision involving a black Renault Twingo on the A3059 at the junction with Rialton Road.
"The car came to rest on its roof in a field.
"The driver, a man in his 20s from Plymouth, was trapped in the vehicle and extracted by the fire service. He sustained serious chest and back injuries and was taken to Treliske Hospital.
"Two male passengers sustained minor injuries and were also taken to hospital.
"Officers from Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended and the road was closed until 11am today to allow for investigation work and recovery of the car.
"Police are investigating and appealing for any witnesses to contact them. They would also like to hear from any motorist with relevant dashcam footage.
