A third diver who was rescued off the Cornish coast has been discharged from hospital.

He had been treated for decompression in Plymouth after managing to raise the alarm when two others failed to resurface.

A group has been exploring the shipwreck of HMS Scylla off Whitsand Bay last Friday (3rd September).

Searches have been carried out but the pair have not been found.

"A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We have no updates available at present but I can confirm that the third diver has been discharged from hospital and is being supported by the police."

Police divers were drafted in as part of the investigation along with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

Earlier this week people were still being urged to stay away from the site and not to dive there.
