Police have confirmed the death of a deep sea diver off the Isles of Scilly.

The man is understood to have been part of a group driving at depths of 360ft, around 45 miles off the coast.

They have confirmed the family of the man, who was in his 30s and from Germany, have been told and his death is not being treated as suspicious.

"The diver was a man, aged in his 30s, from Germany. His next-of-kin have been informed.
