A young singer-songwriter from Cornwall has been left stunned after she was chosen to perform for royalty.

Daisy Clark, from Newquay, was booked to play a confidential VIP gig at the Eden Project a few weeks ago.

Little did she know at the time she'd be performing for the G7 world leaders and members of the Royal Family!

Her Majesty the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate joined the G7 leaders for a private dinner at the Eden Project on Friday evening.

Singer Daisy, who’s already caught the attention of Billie Eilish, only found out just two days before, what the occasion actually was.

The performance included Daisy’s own songs including ‘Front Row’ and ‘Make Me Trust You’, plus covers of ‘Dream A Little Dream Of Me’, ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, ‘Smile’, as well as tracks from her favourite artists such as Billie Eilish, Phoebe Bridgers and Haim.

Justin Trudeau told Daisy afterwards that he was a particular fan of her Avril Lavigne cover!

Daisy posted on Instagram: "A few weeks ago I got booked to play a confidential VIP gig at the wonderful @edenprojectcornwall - two days ago I found out I would be performing to the world leaders attending the G7 summit whilst they dine in the Mediterranean biome! I even saw the queen! 👑 Incredibly surreal and crazy day".
