A dad has been injured by broken glass left on a children's slide at a park in Falmouth

The man in his 30s suffered cuts from broken light bulbs after going down the slide with his daughter.

It happened at the playground in Kimberley Park on Sunday evening (22nd May).

Police are now investigating as to whether the glass was left deliberately and anyone with information is asked to come forward.

A Devon & Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 6.35pm on Sunday 22nd May with a report that a man had been injured by broken glass at Kimberley Park Playground in Falmouth.

"The man, in his 30s, received cuts from broken light bulbs after going down the park slide with his young daughter.

"Police attended and are investigating as to whether the glass was left deliberately."
