Cyclist crashes into hedge and suffers serious injuries after collision with car

A cyclist has crashed into a hedge and suffered serious injuries following a collision with a car near Redruth.
It happened on Chapel Hill in the Carn Brea area just before 11am on Thursday morning.
The cyclist, a local woman in her 60s, was cycling from Troon towards Brea village.
Police want anyone who saw what happened, or who has dashcam footage, to get in touch.
"Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Chapel Hill, Carn Brea, Camborne at 10.45am on Thursday 10th June.
"The cyclist, a local woman aged in her 60s, was cycling from Troon in the direction of Brea Village.
"The cyclist crashed into a hedge suffering serious injuries."
