Crash shuts stretch of main road to Newquay in both directions

One of the main roads to Newquay was left closed for hours after a crash which police have now confirmed was fatal.
The collision happened on the A3075 near the turn-off for Cubert first thing on Monday (26th April).

The A3075 was shut in both directions between Trevemper Roundabout and the crossroads at Rejerrah,
It has now been confirmed that it has reopened.
At the time, Inrix Traffic and Travel said: "A3075 in both directions closed due to accident between the Cubert turn-off and the Crantock turn-off. Traffic is coping well.
"Affecting traffic between Newquay and Goonhavern".
