Two elderly women injured after two serious crashes in north Cornwall
Police, paramedics, firefighters and the air ambulance were called to the scenes of both collisions on Saturday (26th June)

Police say an elderly woman has suffered potentially serious injuries after a crash in north Cornwall.
The front seat passenger was rushed to Treliske after the single-vehicle collision in the St Minver area.
The driver was also taken to hospital after it happened on the B3314 between Wadebridge and Rock.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene on Saturday afternoon, along with Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Devon & Cornwall Police said: “At 1319hrs on Saturday 26th June 2021 police were notified of a single vehicle RTC on the B3314, between Wadebridge and Rock.
“The vehicle involved was a silver Honda Jazz.
“Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, the ambulance service and Cornwall Air Ambulance attended the scene with police officers from Bodmin and the Alliance Roads Policing Team.
“As a result of the collision, the front seat passenger was treated for potential serious injuries and was conveyed with the driver to Treliske Hospital for treatment.
“Police would like to thank the members of the public for their help at the scene and also for their patience whilst an investigation was completed”.

Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service said: “One appliance from Wadebridge, one appliance from Bodmin and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin Fire Station attended this incident.
“It involved one vehicle and an 81yr old female who was still in the vehicle but not trapped.
“Crash rescue equipment was used for space creation and crews gave first aid and scene safety was carried out.
“The patient was left in the care of the ambulance”.

The incident was one of two crashes in the north Cornwall area on Saturday.
Another elderly woman was treated by paramedics after a separate collision near Camelford.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service said: “One appliance from Delabole and the L4P and one appliance from Bodmin and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin attended this incident.
“It involved two vehicles with one elderly female casualty not physically trapped.
“The crew stabilised the vehicle and made the female comfortable.
“Crash rescue equipment was used for space creation.
“The casualty was released and left in the care of the air ambulance”.
