A busy stretch of the A30 in mid-Cornwall, blocked in both directions after a crash, has now reopened.

Two vehicles were involved in the rush-hour collision at Zelah on Tuesday morning.

It was affecting traffic between the area and Carland Cross roundabout.

Devon and Cornwall Police say no injuries were reported, however a man was checked over by paramedics as a precaution.

Drivers had been urged to find an alternative route but the incident has since been cleared and queues in the area have eased.
