Elderly man and woman die in Redruth from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning

A couple in Redruth have died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
Devon and Cornwall Police were notified just after 9pm on Tuesday 22 December, after reports of a concern of welfare of two people in a property on Trefusis Road.
Emergency services attended the scene where an elderly man and woman were pronounced dead.. Their next of kin have been informed.
Officers say they are currently treating their deaths as unexplained following suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
