Those behind Cornwall Pride say despite the rain - and the train strikes - this weekend's event in Truro was a success.
More than 40,000 people have attended events across the county over the past five months.
Over the weekend, Cornwall Pride's 11 groups came together for what organisers call the 'highly anticipated' event, which saw thousands of people come together, to demonstrate their support, raise awareness and celebrate all marginalised communities.
This year, they focussed on access to mental wellbeing support, and during the day in Truro, leading mental wellbeing charities came down to support their activities.
There was also a quiet workshop area, and wellbeing support to-hand.
Over the past five months, pride events have been held across Cornwall, including Falmouth, Camborne, Saltash, St Austell, St Ives, Bude, Bodmin, Penzance, and Newquay, whilst brand-new local community Prides were launched in Isles of Scilly and Calstock.
The culmination of these events was Cornwall Pride in Truro.
Organisers have revealed that this weekend's event in Truro was the most attended Pride this year, uniting attendees under Cornwall Pride's values of 'LoveWhoYouWantToLove' and 'BeWhoYouWantToBe', with the aim of bringing communities together to embrace a 'HateFreeCornwall'.
Matthew Kenworthy Gomes, Cornwall Pride's CEO, said: "Just a massive thank you to everyone who has been and continues to be part of Cornwall's journey towards a Hate Free Cornwall.
"It's amazing to think that over the last 16 years, our incredible place called home, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, has hosted 49 Pride days!"
Clive Kessell from the Redruth Town Band praised the inclusivity of the event, said: "Pride for everyone! An amazing event.
"Extremely well organized with a fantastic mix of entertainment, led by a Parade to be proud of and a flag that went on forever. Keep on doing what you're doing, Team Pride. Look at what you've achieved and be proud!"
As an organisation, Cornwall Pride is committed to promoting and supporting diversity, inclusion, education, the elimination of discrimination, and mental health support for all marginalized individuals.
